Falkirk have slapped a £750,000 price tag on highly-rated young left-back Tony Gallacher.

The Championship club are bracing themselves for bids in the final week of the transfer window after the 17-year-old was watched by Liverpool and Manchester City last week.

Celtic, Manchester United and Everton are interested, while Chelsea have also sent scouts north.

Stoke City made a £100,000 offer for the defender in the summer while Manchester United had a request to place him under surveillance during a training spell rejected.

Barcelona are also thought to monitoring the situation and are considering signing the highly-rated defender to their B side.

Gallacher made his debut as a 16-year-old in a Scottish Cup tie in November 2015 and has since gone on to make seven first-team appearances this season.
