Oldham-born Ryan joined Liverpool at the age of seven.

A dynamic winger who can play on the left or right side, Kent loves to take on defenders and cause endless problems for the opposition.

After an impressive 2014-15 campaign his performances were rewarded with a call-up to the first-team squad for their 2015 pre-season tour of Bangkok, Brisbane, Adelaide and Malaysia.

He was handed a chance to impress, too, when he made an appearance off the bench during the match with Brisbane Roar.

To further build up senior experience, Kent then joined Coventry City in September 2015 on a youth loan deal before returning in January 2016. He made 17 appearances for Tony Mowbray's side and proved to be a real favourite amongst the Coventry supporters.

A senior debut for Liverpool arrived in an FA Cup clash at Exeter City, and Ryan went out on a season-long loan deal in 2016-17 - joining Championship side Barnsley.
